Alinsky's Fifth Rule Defends the Best Voter ID Argument

Since I have been discussing the 10 Points to True Election Integrity, one of the most popular points has, by far, been the mandatory requirement of Voter ID.  It is critical to remember that electoral votes up for grabs without Voter ID requirements went to Joe Biden by a whopping 197-20 tally.  The chief offenders are mainly “blue states” like California, Maryland, New York, and New Jersey, but also some solid conservative states or emerging “red” states like North Carolina, Nebraska, and Pennsylvania.

Remember, identifying documents are part of life.  You cannot fly, rent a car, buy a gun, be pulled over without issue from law enforcement, take out a loan, check in to a hotel, or, in some cases, purchase alcohol without identification.  Since the left is bereft of ideas, they resort to calling everything racist, including expecting a voter, whose vote can be used to cancel the legal vote of another voter for a different candidate, to produce identification before stepping into the voting booth.

This issue is easily defendable, but few “conservatives” actually have the guts to take the big race card out of the hands of professional manipulators and whiners who want to rig elections.  Donald Trump knew how to expose the stupid arguments of the left in every topic.  In the case of Voter ID, Trump knew that anyone wanting to ignore identification requirements for an election had no goal other than to defraud elections.

Enter Alinsky’s fifth rule for radicals, ridicule.  “Mean tweets” were Trump’s way of turning the work of a radical leftist on his own people, and they had absolutely no way to handle it except by lashing out like toddlers. When people say, “get ready for liberal tears,” they are referring to their reaction to the right finally tapping into some fighting spirit and turning the tables in the same form they’ve been turned against us.

It is therefore essential that election integrity activists stop pointing out the obvious argument (that ID is used everywhere and should be for voting) and jump right onto the “race relations” hand grenade by saying, “there is quite simply nothing more racist than implying that an entire group of people, based on skin color or race, is too stupid to obtain proper identification.”  Leave that cooked grenade in the hands of the crazed leftist who was looking to distract from serious issues by turning them into emotionally charged ones.

Anyone who wants to leave identification out of the elections process wants to cheat.  Period.  Treat them like the dastardly saboteurs they are – with absolutely no quarter.
