Captain Seth Keshel announces the third election integrity Candidate Spotlight of the 2024 election cycle, and it is for Caroline Kane (Republican), running for the U.S. House seat representing Texas’s 7th Congressional District, located within metro Houston.
While TX-7 was once a reliably Republican district, it has fallen into Democrat control under incumbent Representative Lizzie Fletcher, who will be seeking a fourth consecutive term in 2024. Although Fletcher lacks charisma and meaningful achievement, she won reelection in 2022 by a landslide margin, certainly aided by the documented electoral corruption of the surrounding area.
Candidate Kane (website), a successful longtime Houston businesswoman, meets Captain Keshel’s standards for election integrity, calling election fraud “treason,” and is hereby featured in the following Candidate Spotlight:
Author’s Note: I will be spending substantial time vetting candidates for election integrity-specific Candidate Spotlights. These summaries will all be made available at no cost, but require substantial time to prepare and screen for viability. Well, with Roe v Wade gone, abortion isn't as big a deal at the federal governing level as it used to be, but she seems to be pro-choice. There is plenty of exit polling data collected over the years that shows that a plurality of voters who are motivated mostly by the abortion issue when choosing a candidate will choose the pro-life candidate. That is to say, there are more pro-life voters than there are pro-choice voters, when that is the driving issue for the voter. Caroline may be pro-choice personally, but it's a dumb stand to take as a Republican running for office, big city district or not. Plenty of GOP voters will sit her election out.
