If We Can't Trust Loving County, Texas, Who Can We Trust? Inside the Impossible 2000 Election
Topic: Elections
When I fly out of Texas, or come back in via the friendly skies, sometimes I have a great view of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. I am simply astonished at the magnitude of such a concrete landscape, and when I think of it in terms of election data, it is extremely hard to get a pulse on how accurate reported results may be based on sheer size. One could easily lose track of thousands, if not tens of thousands of votes, when discussing a population of that many millions.
What if there were a county in Texas so small, that by simple population and registration data alone, a serious condition known as electile dysfunction could be diagnosed without scrutiny?
Enter tiny Loving County, Texas. The 2020 census reports a population of just 64, making the county the smallest in terms of population in the entire United States. A diminutive oil county in West Texas, it was founded in 1887 and is noted in James Michener’s masterpiece, Texas, for its lack of population. Though it produces lopsided GOP victories, the election data is seriously questionable based in terms of voter registration and census figures.
2000
Census: 67
Votes Cast: 156
Registered Voters: 211
2010
Census: 82
Votes Cast in 2008: 79
Registered Voters in 2008: 119
2020
Census: 64
Votes Cast in 2020: 66
Registered Voters: 111
So, which numbers are right? Either the census data is wildly inaccurate, or the voter rolls are poorly maintained. If we can’t trust the smallest county in the United States, how can we trust Los Angeles, Maricopa, Dallas, Harris, or Cook Counties, or any of the other giant counties in our country?
Of particular concern, check out the results of the 2000 election. 2000’s Bush vs. Gore race, even in Texas, had much lower turnout than the 2004 Bush vs. Kerry race. In fact, Bush increased in Texas by over 700,000 votes (19.1%) in his re-election campaign. Why then, would he drop 59 votes in Loving County? John Kerry lost 17 votes from Gore’s total, as well.
2000
Bush 124 (79.5%)
Gore 29 (18.6%)
Other 3 (1.9%)
2004
Bush 65 (81.3%)
Kerry 12 (12.0%)
If you divide the 2000 totals in half, you will find this result:
Bush 62
Gore 14
See if you can spot the 2000 election below.
Excepting 2000’s obviously fraudulent total, no Republican has ever exceeded 71 votes (Eisenhower 1952, census 227) in the county. The Democrats have exceeded Gore’s total, but only because Texas used to be a Democrat state. I would bet my bottom dollar on errant reporting (double report) of election totals being certified.
This raises the grave concern of just how many counties of serious magnitude are “accidentally” reporting some or all of their votes two, three, or even more times.
Loving County is proof positive, and should be investigated, particularly for census and registration disparity, and the clearly impossible 2000 election results. We must clean out our fraudulent voter rolls.
This is a brilliant discovery. Geezus. How does something this small get so effed up ?? Is there one bad apple in the process trying to give the County a little more clout.....and he/she figures it'll never be noticed ?? Maybe Pillow Man is right....paper ballots, counted by hand, with a casino-type camera right above the person/people counting the ballots. The video of the counting is your audit.
64. How difficult can it be to canvass 64?
Of course that does not address the more important voter to resident to total disparity.
For the moment I am marveling at the fact that the Captain has identified the least populate county in the entire USA and it is in West TX.
