The left wants you to sit at the bottom of a freezing, muddy hole and eat fish heads until you gloss over.
Seriously.
You will either comply and quietly coexist in their toxic, life-rotting “corporate America,” in which they call all the shots and name all the tunes, or you can starve to death. The incentive for your corporate masters is that your serfdom provides tax revenues, and not in some form of altruism that allows you to make just enough to get by and live as far beyond 65 as your portfolio will take you.
Starting your own business is made as terrifying as possible, and by design. Self-employed business owners are on the hook for a self-employment tax of 15.3%, and without the use of a skilled CPA, usually get scalped by the government every April. Add that to the stress of trying to compete with any other mom and pops, and you have a recipe for saying “to hell with it” and sticking to the rat race, making what you’re told you’ll make, and laid off when you’re no longer essential to your company’s success.
As I’ve written before, I was part of this corporate ladder from the time I left the Active Army in 2013 until I was terminated out of the blue in January 2022, almost certainly for my involvement in the election integrity movement and my association with some of the most controversial names in the political world. Reuters was most likely responsible for the fatal blow to my normal career path, landing a globally circulated kidney shot that would make any company CEO grovel before his politically correct investor overlords for employing such a “conspiracy theorist.”
I plunged headlong into my current trajectory, under what I formed as Captain K Consulting in late 2021. I realized all along that I was very likely to be shunned from having a normal career, and in my thirties, needed to plan for what could be a bumpy ride. I am paid for some, not all, speaking events, advertisements, ambassadorships, analyst contracts (if possible and in season), and last but not least, SubStack memberships. There are many people who think “influencers” are laughing all the way to the bank doing paid events, and I’ve documented the futility of that thinking here, in a widely circulated article examining one of my trips from 2022.
If you’re not familiar with Lance Wallnau’s “Seven Mountains of Culture” theory, read below, and try to determine which of the seven are not controlled by the left. Truly, they run media/entertainment, government, education, economy, and celebration, and have their claws lodged deep within religion and family. I will break from Lance’s theologian’s perspective and put on my Army officer hat: The left is kicking our asses all over the map and rubbing our faces in it, while we beg for scraps at the table.
While I have never shied away from defending patriot business owners, hence my Public Square ambassadorship, and come down pretty hard on the crowd that likes to call everyone a grifter, my argument got new fuel this week when I read an angry treatise from the left-wing indoctrination tank, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
In their perverted piece, they cry that SubStack hasn’t embraced censorship as many major internet platforms do and selectively banned political or ideological talk they disagree with. To my knowledge, SubStack doesn’t censor at all, except perhaps in the most extreme cases promoting violence, genocide, or sexual crimes. It appears the ADL thinks SubStack, as it grows, may come to be easily influenced by the woke cancel culture and do its bidding by silencing prominent voices that push back on the approved narratives regarding elections, foreign policy, big pharma, vaccines, and other critical topics.
The article highlighted many accounts the butt-hurt ADL does not approve of. I have selected Roger Stone’s as an example, and it is shown below. Using rough calculations and posted paid membership fees, they calculated minimum monthly profits for each SubStack. These range from mere hundreds, like Stone’s, to more than $40,000 per month in a couple instances. Most of the selections had a minimum value of $4,055 per month.
Now, I will do what I am known for doing – breaking down numbers.
Minimum paid fees per month: $4,055
Less 13% SubStack and Stripe fees: $3,527.85
Taxation of 35%: $2,293.10
Total Earnings After Tax Annual: $27,517.20 ($2,293.10 x 12)
The Anti-Defamation League is showing its ass over a handful of accounts that typically make a couple or few thousand dollars after taxes, per month. Enough to rent a studio apartment in an urban area, pay the phone bill, and probably grab two loads of groceries. Most certainly not enough to support a family, pay child support, take luxury vacations, or live a gaudy lifestyle that many accuse key influencers of enjoying as the country suffers.
This can mean only one thing – the left wants you to starve to death and be beholden to their institutions for mere survival. Thriving and prospering in their America is not an option, and now they are going after the few arenas in which alternative voices are able to be supported in the free market. By intimidating people back into their false senses of security, they stave off their inevitable cultural defeat and demise, and blot out the few voices willing to stand in opposition to them.
They may very well get to SubStack, and I hope they fail. I enjoy the platform, and find it incredibly beneficial as a repository of information and for penetrating the intellectual battlefield. As for my own SubStack rules – I will never post critical “must-do” items or motivational pieces behind a paywall, as Max McGuire errantly suggested in seeking to attack me in July 2022. But I am 38 years old, knee-deep in the trenches, and plan to stay here as long as God directs my path in that manner, so I have no choice but to sustain myself financially.
You can read all the content, including audios, for $6 per month, or $60 for a year. If you are so inclined to become a founding member, you will receive my challenge coin, shown below, and a handwritten “thank you” on my special stationery, made for me by patriot Lisa Elder from Frederick, Maryland.
I am grateful for your readership, and for those I’ve met along the way, and hope to see all of us drive ahead in this cultural awakening and experience incredible victories in our lifetimes.
Thank you so much for your perseverance and tenacity regarding election integrity and the Truth Movement! I first saw you speak at the Cyber Symposium in 2021 and have followed you ever since! I became a Poll Watcher in Williamson County, Texas due to your Leadership and encouragement. Thank you for all you do!
Seth, great piece. I am always wondering about why the largest % of people still can’t see the big picture. They are. It hungry enough yet- they won’t get it until it’s too late.
