Light at the End of the Tunnel of this Fourth Turning Appears - Prediction X

In the early days of this journal, I recommended 10 of my favorite books, covering a variety of topics.  10 is far too short of a list, but to triage, I needed to keep that list concise.  Every American should own a hard copy of each book on that list.  The second booked listed is The Fourth Turning, published in 1997 and authored by Neil Howe and the late William Strauss.  Of note, Howe published The Fourth Turning is Here last year, which interestingly enough, is what I’m writing about today.

Yesterday, when it became clear in the U.S. Supreme Court that none of the attempts to remove President Trump’s name from ballots this year would be tolerated, the occasion marked my third dead-on prediction for 2024, in just our second month in the new year.  If you read that article, you’ll see my 10^th and final prediction at the bottom:

X.         2024: Light Appears at the End of the Tunnel

…The world is simply too crazy, too tedious, and too tightly wound to continue at this pace indefinitely.  I have continuously cited Rasmussen polling showing approximately 5 out of 8 American likely voters do not believe the 2020 election results were decided fairly, and even higher percentages of the same do not trust the administration of elections to provide believable outcomes – and elections represent only one facet of the institutional corruption plaguing not just the United States, and not just The West, but the entire world thanks to the advent of rapid, worldwide communications abilities used by civilians and governments alike.

Your battle must be renewed daily, with long-term success in mind.  What good will it do for us to enjoy President Trump for four more years, and find ourselves up the creek in 2032 or 2036?  My kids will barely be reaching adulthood at that point.

Yesterday was an incredible day for those who love freedom.  President Trump, with no legitimate challenger, blew out all previously existing Nevada turnout records in the Republican caucus, two days after Nikki Haley lost 2:1 against “none of these candidates” in the state-sanctioned Republican primary, which was authorized none of the state’s 26 GOP delegates for the nominating contest.  Tucker Carlson’s barrier-breaking interview with Vladimir Putin was released, and, astonishingly, Joe Biden confirmed that he is pudding-brained in a press conference that had no other purpose than to make him appear to not be pudding-brained.

Times are changing.  Polling, although it is often corrupted and has shortcomings even when conducted honestly, is showing a major surge for President Trump that he didn’t have in 2020 polling, when he should have won reelection convincingly, if not for widespread cheating.  Desperation is in the air worldwide because there may be no means to prevent him from assuming his rightful place.  That doesn’t mean to become complacent and attempt to coast to an electoral victory against the nearly insurmountable and contrived “blue wall,” which is documented throughout this journal – in fact, it means the opposite.  Expect the unexpected, and count on the Most Dangerous Course of Action to happen.  It was the release of a manmade virus in 2020 to tip the scales of public discourse and election (mal)administration; now the public is awake to that and largely mocks any mention of COVID or any means of mitigation so-called health experts come up with on a weekly basis.

Still – this piece is not about what surprises wait around the corner, perhaps to be unveiled any day now, especially now that the bureaucracy is apparently trying to nudge Biden off the stage while time remains.  It is about why I made that 10^th prediction – that light is visible at the end of the tunnel.  What does light mean?  Do I mean that we are setting out upon a Republican dynasty operated by actual patriots that will long outlast President Trump’s tenure?  Or that injustice will cease and wokeism will die a brutal cultural death and be relegated to the ash heap of human history?
