Supposedly a “republican” SOS, but have seen recent ads for ballot by mail in Texas. It’s disturbing. But i also recently applied for my absentee ballot because I’ll be out of county working , and they absolutely won’t mail it to my house, before election, for transport and later mailing. They will only mail to an out of county address, as per state law. My point is, they don’t just Willy nilly mail ballots. Many hoops to jump thru. Is my experience.

Here is a link to a comment from the Texas Secretary of State on this. Hopefully, their investigation will quickly yield a plausible explanation for the discrepancy along with a correction of the data, if warranted. https://www.sos.state.tx.us/about/newsreleases/2024/040324.shtml
