Everything seems to indicate the raiders knew it would be bad publicity (the warrant had an open timeframe, they waited for Trump to travel elsewhere), but they still did it. Is this a case where an intelligence assessment was ignored, or could there be something unreported that made it worth it (say a gander at those privileged documents)?
Or maybe they wanted to plant something. Trump has already hinted at this and he very likely has the videotape of the entire ransacking, maybe. So who knows...

Interestingly, the two potential motivations (worst, most likely) behind the FBI course of action thus far here (the raid) are not mutually exclusive, at least until we see more of what the jack boots do (or do not do) next. We can, however, see the Fake News already building the narrative that Trump supporters are about to get violent, hence they are building up to cover and spin a future false flag, Fed-led, J6-style false narrative makes some sense, too. Word on the street (unofficial but what would be official?) is that Bidan's approval rating is actually in the 10-12% range -- nothing like the fake polling that we have all come to know and "love", so what are the Ds with their leader Bidan going to do to salvage this mid-term election? They are down to two things it seems: (1) stunts/surprises and (2) election fraud. They sure can't run on the D record! Plus, they can see the openly-discussed counters to election fraud that are building. I see more chaos and craziness forthcoming as desperation builds and their options neck down further.

Of course Cuomo's (and Yang's) concern isn't about the civil liberties of Americans. No, it's about making the police state look bad if they turn up nothing. The raid has opened the eyes of some. That's what they're afraid of. It's almost funny how they are trying to warn the left how the raid is mobilizing even more support for Trump and turning him into a political Incredible Hulk.
This is a PR nightmare for the DOJ/FBI. It is so glaring that it fleetingly occurred to me that perhaps Trump baited or subtly encouraged this insane raid somehow as it only helps him and the MAGA movement. Who knows...this is doubtful so just a wild theory but there are moves and counter moves galore in the warfare that we are experiencing.
