This piece serves as an exposé highlighting the importance of top-notch record keeping, the ability to disprove malicious accusations, and perhaps most importantly, the dangers of unwarranted paranoia. What follows is a true story – one that has happened to me over the course of the past six weeks and is well on the way to resolution now that I have thoroughly demolished every one of these piss-poor, misguided attempts to malign my reputation.
Note: I am deliberately withholding detail as to who is behind these attacks, and from where these attacks emanate. If this must advance beyond an abstract description of something that has happened to me, and may to you, then I need to withhold certain details for now.
Background
In early October, I became aware of commentary regarding my background, employment, sincerity, and trustworthiness. These derogatory opinions and comments were shared with people close to me, and I became aware of the gist of them in bits and pieces. On a particularly distressing day last weekend, which caused substantial personal turmoil, I was finally given the entire scoop as to what specific garbage was being spread against me.
Accusation 1
I was never a Captain (O-3) in the United States Army, but only a First Lieutenant (O-2). Additionally, I was “black ops” in the military, which is no functional area at all.
Remarks: If one were to be caught lying about the nature of his military service, including rank achieved, combat duty, occupational specialty, decorations, or nature of discharge, he would lose all credibility and suffer far greater harm than someone simply caught in a problem or lie of a different nature. This malicious lie was used to discredit me and take away the validity of my election integrity assessments.
The Truth: You may remember the following post from Truth Social, posted on November 12.
Fair warning, the day after Veterans Day, on behalf of all veterans:
If you wish to disparage a veteran on the basis of misrepresented rank, combat time, occupational specialty, or nature of discharge – you’d better be damn sure you’ve got an inside straight. Learn about the DD214.
Or your ass is grass.
The DD214 is the gold standard for proof of service and is formally titled Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty. Every active-duty veteran has one, and it is required for nearly all veteran benefits. Those seeking to harm me cleverly claimed they were within weeks of having a copy of mine – which of course, was thrown right back at them because I have my own service records.
Box 4a – CPT (Captain). Pay Grade, O-3 (Box 4b). What a stupid accusation to make, especially considering that almost all junior officers who stay in service for the requisite amount of time and are free of criminal activity while on duty and meet physical fitness standards obtain the grade of O-3. Never mind all the photographic evidence affirming my correct rank and pay grade:
Furthermore, here is the excerpt for my specialty area to dispel “black ops” (Box 11).
35D – All Source Intelligence Officer, for 56 of my total 66 months of active service. Given my rank of Captain, a tactical intelligence officer at that, who never served above the Brigade echelon or within a thousand miles of Washington, D.C., where all agencies and spook tanks are headquartered, this may be one of the dumbest assessments ever formed. Military Intelligence has been around since men first threw sticks and stones at one another in anger.
I am not publishing the entire DD214 document in its whole format for obvious reasons, though it is available for anyone to view one-on-one if they feel a pressing need to be utterly humiliated for believing such stupid things.
Accusation 2
“The Pentagon” paid off one of my homes.
Remarks: If you were hoping things would improve, I am sorry to disappoint you. This point may upend your faith in humanity, if for some reason you still have a measure of it. If this point were true, that The Pentagon, the headquarters of our strategic military leadership in the National Capital Region, paid off a home mortgage for me, then I would presumably be a Department of Defense asset wreaking havoc by… traveling the nation explaining election corruption to anyone with ears.
The Truth: Once alerted to this claim, I subscribed to BeenVerified, which is lauded as one of the top consumer background check databases available on the open web. With a few clicks, I found the property records for all three homes I have owned, one in Alaska during my military assignment there, and two in Texas. My last home in Texas, in Parker County, was sold on or about July 20, 2023, and I wasn’t even listed on the deed at the time of sale. Take a break here because things are about to get really stupid.
The buyer of my former home, clearly a current or former service member, sourced a Veterans Administration loan using Pentagon Federal Credit Union (PenFed), which is one of the nation’s largest federal credit unions, boasting 1.8 million members and over $25 billion in assets. But sure, is there really any difference between a lending institution and the strategic home of the nation’s top military brass and clandestine spookery?
This is an example of outright malice; there is no possible way anyone with two functioning brain cells could read a property log and deduce a conspiracy horror story straight out of Designated Survivor without the intent to divide, disrupt, and discredit. Any analyst drawing such an assessment in a combat zone would be immediately boarded for Germany and institutionalized for mental incompetence.
Accusation 3
I was issued a second Social Security Number (SSN) around the same time I was emerging as a national voice for election reform (2020-21 timeframe).
Remarks: If true, and tying to the second accusation, this would cast doubt on my identity and suggest I am operating in a clandestine fashion (hilariously, moving about the country talking about the subject almost none of our federal officials will even mention).
The Truth: Once these lies were being confronted, one of the persons of interest, confronted with the first two truths, finally coughed up a screenshot revealing my true SSN, and a supposed second one belonging to me. I will not release that screenshot because this point, differing from the first two, deals with illegal activity and may need to be used in court. My SSN was apparently sought, if the story is to be believed, because I am a “ghost” in the background checks systems, even the good ones. I could only find myself in a few second-rate databases, and even then, the information was spotty and only partially accurate.
When I was becoming a public person in 2021, I paid a former classmate, at his recommendation, to scrub the Internet of many of my public records. Apparently, it worked, at least for the biographical information (my property and vehicle records are still readily available). I used the BeenVerified server to search for other public personalities and political figures, and in most cases, they didn’t populate either. Note: I paid a well-known researcher to source a thorough background record for me that is now at my disposal as needed.
Here is where things take a grim turn. I ran the second SSN, once sent, through SSN Verify, which confirms or denies the existence of a SSN and provides detail as to time and place of issuance. If that SSN belonged to me, then it was issued to me so I could impact the 1976 election between Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter, nine years before I was born (39 years ago to the day of the publication of this article), not so I could mislead as to the results of the 2020 election or any pursuant election. You read that right – the second SSN was issued in Minnesota in 1975 and belongs to a person still living.
Through my network of allies, I confirmed the second SSN belongs to a family member who I will stop short of fully describing here, again for obvious reasons. While the first two accusations are malicious, they are not actionable in a court of law – even if moderately defamatory. Public persons have few, if any, protections against such talk, and even if a pathway to action existed, it would cost substantial money to act on. This last point, regarding the supposed second SSN, deals with serious illegality. Basic background search databases do not compromise peoples’ SSNs – they represent highly confidential Personal Identifiable Information (PII), and if compromised, can result in serious financial harm and identity theft to the victim(s). Law enforcement agencies, the DOD, and legal firms must have justifiable cause to unearth SSNs, and even then, must handle them with utmost care. In this case, not only was my SSN unearthed with zero cause other than apparent suspicion for my lack of easily accessible background data, but that of a family member was too. The unmasking of said SSNs is its own offense, and the distribution of such a report or screenshot featuring those numbers is an individual offense against not only me, but the family member mentioned here, too, each time it happened and by every person sharing the information.
What Now?
All parties involved have now received the truth in response to egregious lies spread about me. I had expected the revelation of the answers, which I did not owe anyone in defense of my reputation, to bring about an end of hostilities, but so far, after four days, many of the persons of interest have issued little to no response. In fact, many have taken actions to distance from what appears to be a trainwreck of epic proportions caused by an unquenchable desire to dish out gossip and reputational harm, despite my every action supporting wholehearted support of their endeavors, including financially and with the use of my social media reach. Some of the names rumored to play a role in this fiasco are instantly recognizable, nationwide, and they will not be discussed in this format.
My desire, even though horribly wronged, is to forgive. In speaking with fraud investigators (financial and securities related, not election), law enforcement, and attorneys, I absolutely have a case with regard to the point of the SSNs, which were unmasked without cause and impacts not only myself, but my family member, and which implicates anyone, including private investigation firms acting without cause, who illegally accessed the PII and played a role in disseminating it. The cost of vindicating myself is greater than I wish to bear, and would sweep up people I value, care about, and wish to be reconciled to, and need to see have success given their positions on the issues of our day. I also believe it is a far greater mark of character and Christian conviction to forgive than it is to get even, especially when there is substantial financial gain at hand. I intend to fully put this issue to rest, but thus far, none close to the issue at hand are willing to discuss it or provide needed clarity for how it all transpired.
A very important lesson to take from this pertains to the subject of paranoia. A hallmark of the populist right is distrust, and in most cases, that is justified. Institutions, courts, politicians, celebrities, and even churches have provided sufficient justification and fostered a culture of ill-will in which the political climate is so toxic, few can work together. Even evangelicals trash one another, spreading gossip and evils without once confronting the person with whom they have a dispute. Put simply, if everything is “Deep State,” then nothing is “Deep State.”
In many cases pertaining to this unwanted saga, I have been denied the courtesy of a personal conversation that would have easily disputed, within mere minutes, any of the points levied against me that I have shown above. Christians sometimes call this the “Matthew 18” approach, which calls for one with a bone to pick to approach the person who has offended him, or who is in question for one issue or another, first, before spreading trash and gossip, or going to that person’s professional network with more gossip cargo than can be stored in any heavy lift aircraft. Unfortunately, that approach is often disregarded in today’s world, and when it is, it causes major relational issues and creates the self-fulfilling prophecy of distrust the engaging parties initially feared.
In closing, this sorry episode underscores exactly why I present information the way I do and take very few logical leaps. In over two years on the public radar, no critic can logically dispute my points about election reform; however, when the paranoid right gets to acting crazy and accompanies valid complaints about J6 prisoner treatment, vaccine mandates, and election fraud with outright idiocy and easily disprovable lies, it causes everyone’s valid claims to be cast into the same refuse pit. You must be capable of keeping accurate records, reporting facts, bringing lies into the sunlight, and if necessary, keeping accurate scores and informing those complicit in diabolical actions of truth.
Author’s Note: I do everything I can to get along with as many people as possible, because our side is already outnumbered, outspent, outhustled, and outworked. If we are to be defeated, it should not be on account of being obtuse, ignorant, and easily deceived. I will not stand by and see my military record or other personal accomplishments tarnished by lies, and neither should you. If you want to trash me personally, be my guest – I have already owned my past, and if you want to judge that – then you can deal with God.
If you do believe those claims against me despite the proof I’ve shown in this journal, and have in physical format, then this probably isn’t the journal for you. I’ve appreciated your readership. If you are with me on this issue, and you think you can trust my opinion, I would greatly value your paid subscription to support my mission going forward. Thank you!
As a paid subscriber (one of your earliest) I can tell you: I love you. This BS is happening because you are co CLOSE to target. No matter that it is coming from right or left, they all fear being exposed by the truth. Your strength comes directly from the Holy Spirit and because of your acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. I know you won't, but don't let these bastards get you down. The pendulum has begun to swing the other way and we are going to win this war against satan. And that change in momentum is because of the ACTIONS of heroes like you. Godspeed.
Hang in there Seth. I believe most of the crap being thrown at you is easily discerned as true or bullshit for those who want to know the truth.
Your service record should be easy to confirm with your DD214. I think many generally know what a DD214 is. I used to look over DD214s as an administration volunteer for a Veteran’s group to see what membership package was a better ‘fit’ for them.
I’ve been following you (and other election integrity heavy hitters) and consistently reading your articles and posts. I feel like most of us know you much better than you know many of us.
We’ve all been duped, lied to, conned, etc., you simply come across to me as someone with a huge heart, righteous convictions and driven to save our Republic.
I’m not surprised at all that there would be many out there trying to discredit you and all the other heavy hitters.
Plus, you are one hell of a writer! I love your down to earth style and your ability to communicate much with very short articles.
I trust you!
