I’m 81. I proudly WALK to my local walk-in voting location on ELECTION DAY with my mail-in ballot in my hand, show my ID to the precinct workers, and place my ballot in the receptacle for completed ballots. My husband (83) does the same. Then we WALK home and give each other the high-fives. Another vote successfully and properly completed. I live in California. My Republican votes don’t count for sh*t anymore, but I will at least not have them stolen.
Bravo, that is exactly what you should do with one caveat. If you already have the ballot opened and filled out there is no way to prove it is yours. If they tell you that you already voted you have no recourse!! Better to bring the un opened ballot there,(you can pre select choices on another sample ballot) and fill it out in 2 mins if there is no problem.
Its embarrassing really. I would be ashamed to go out in public or plaster on social media that I'm too lazy to do the simple things required to fix elections after the literal death and destruction that we have have witnessed first hand as a result of elections stolen by evil people for decades and decades.
We have the Convenience Cabal here in Utah. You'd think we were asking voters to raise the flag at Iwo Jima. Or storm the beaches of Normandy. No, just go vote at a house in your local precinct.
In our recent primary, the use of machines at in-person voting centers has collapsed. There is definitely a push towards all mailed-out ballots. In my talks with the clerk I sense a clear preference for the drop box (more cost effective), as opposed to USPS (and paying for postage). They may be piss poor, but there are security cameras pointed at the drop boxes. It is up to Utahns to monitor the boxes around the clock during an election. The clerk also sees voting center space rental as a considerable expense. We are fighting a difficult battle here. Pray for Utah !
M Lindell seems to have a rational response to this problem for most states.
Either request a mail in ballot or make sure one is sent. Do not open it.
Take the envelope with you on the day of the election. If you are told you already voted, produce your ballot and file a complaint for fraud immediately. Take photos of everything.
never, ever reveal the unopened ballot packet UNTIL the sheriff or deputy is on the scene and ready to take the identity theft report, which one has called in without saying that one is at a voting location.
“The life of ease”. Everyone desires it mistakenly. This is a personal problem that needs recognizing. I agree with you whole heartedly that secure elections and voter convenience CANNOT coexist, period!
Oregon was the first and we have paid a dear price.
Thank you again for speaking the Truth and taking the arrows. There are many individuals out here that are willing, but you are in the lead, and the turbulence IS rough.
You said it Captain. Being elderly is not a disability. I get tired of people using age as an excuse. You can bet many of the same people that use age as an excuse are willing to wait in line for a sale item they’ve been waiting on.
When I was a kid, Election Day was a very big deal. It was a day off for most of us in NYS. I remember my parents would go vote and lunch was always served by the women in the community and it was not unlike my parents to bring home a few quarts of the homemade clam chowder.
Since that time, I've worked on many elections and I recall, with sadness, the day our county bought those damn computers and got rid of our enclosed election machines that had paper ballots and we just pulled the lever down to vote.
Election Day should be a National Holiday; there would be far fewer excuses and less cheating.
Thank you for addressing this nationally, Seth. Craig and I also ran into some of the same arguments locally, specifically, convenience for snowbirds. We tried to voice the importance and priority of security over convenience since it was a topic for an election resolution, but that day, it did not matter what we said and the resolution included wording that enabled absentee votes for convenience reasons. There is still a big disconnect of average voters really understanding the nuances and seeing the big picture of the vulnerabilities in our election system in addition to laws & officials that make it difficult to near impossible for full audits and transparency).
Captain K, Two Red Pills in Utah got a court victory today. SLCo does not plan to appeal a decision by the court to send their pending case back to the State Records Committee on emails related to elections, which stood by its original decision - TRP won access to records.
I think there is a better solution to completely eliminate early and mail in voting. The military and permanently home bound etc should be allowed to use proxy voters. The law should be that the voter selects their proxy voter and must sign an authorization witnessed by a notary public. Both the voter and the the proxy must be a US Citizen with voting rights and valid state issued photo id. That would completely eliminate mail in ballots. No chance the military ballots would not arrive on time since they are no longer mailed. The proxy voter shows up on election day with their signed proxy authorization along with their voter card and voter id and casts the ballot for their person as the person has instructed them. It is up to the voter to select someone they trust. If we also made election day a national holiday with laws that ban shifts longer than 8 hours for any first responders or critical industries that can’t shut down and then mandate polls stay open a minimum of 12 hours. With all that in place everyone would be able to cast a ballot in person on election day and not even one early or mail in ballot would be needed.

This from patriot Mike Lindell.
I absolutely bring it in my original envelope addressed to me, with all the enclosures and whatnot. Good advice!

Jovan has been teaching us this for years now :)
excellent cross pollination, Lindell has used his wealth as a loud bullhorn
Never too many!
