Captain K, Thank you for all you do! This is a great article! The long term decline of our Republic will not be fixed in a short term. I have shared it with many of my contacts.
Excellent! I frequently have to remind people who send me messages and demand to know what I am doing to fix one thing or another that I am but one person and that each American citizen must stand up and be the “we the people” in the Preamble. My next question to them is, “What can you do and who can you inspire to help you fix this thing that you believe needs to be fixed?“
People want to be heard and they want their demands responded to. When I point out my failure to be all things to all people, it helps to put perspective in place. For too long, we have elected people and expected them to do our bidding while we went about our busy lives and left them to the vultures who are well paid to secure government funds and subvert liberty. We must make time to be the citizens our Constitution demand us to be, not just now but for all time, if this Republic is to survive.
"This" will only be over when we breathe our last either in defense of liberty or when the Lord "calls time." "This" happened because we fell asleep at the wheel.
"Awake thou that sleepest!" Ephesians 5:14a. The Proverb is true.
A little sleep, a little slumber, then your poverty will come in like a drifter and your need by an armed man. Proverbs 6:10&11
While I'm not one for preaching, and this passage deals with laziness and procrastination, it still applies as to our complacency and our falling asleep. We are now awake and must remain vigilant.
You are right Captain Keshel. It is a lifetime fight.
Perhaps the best thing parents can do on a local level to make sure it remains a lifetime fight is to make sure civics is in the curriculum in their childrens' education. The RIGHT civics lessons...
One of your best yet!

Excellent read! Spot on!
Amen. It requires a mighty leader (? Moses) to achieve this.
Phenomenal piece. Inspiring and challenging.
Awesome piece! Love the thought provoking lessons and introspection that you provide to a problem(s).

We did fall asleep. It shouldn’t have but it took POTUS to wake us up to how bad it was.
