And to your point, Captain K, how do we get the Trump administration to appoint you to do exactly as you suggest? I feel that it was only because we had a political environment that mandated a change election that produced margins large enough that this one couldn’t be stolen like it was in 2020. And with Dems running better candidates than a dreadful Kamala in the future, we can expect elections going forward to be much closer, and we already know how those go with institutional fraud built into the election system. It is absolutely dire that we have a national commission on election integrity while Trump has the upper hand.
We had a national commission on election integrity 20 years ago, led by Jimmy Carter & James Baker. Their conclusion was that mail-in ballots are rubbish and highly prone to fraud. Following that, America embraced mail-in ballots! We need more than recommendations, we need laws.
Where the heck is Trump and the RNC? Why aren't they looking into these 4 Senate races? If there are real investigations done by the DOJ when Trump gets in, every stolen seat should be reversed going back to 2020.
Did Mr Thompson respond? Did he agree? Is he urging the Times or anyone to do as you say? I completely agree with you and we need to get back to paper ballots, day of voting and no mail-in ballots, just limited absentee voting.
Seth, you would make a great pick for President Trump in whatever capacity he can use your talents. I'm still attempting to follow the advice you gave me nearly four excruciatingly long years ago. Find what you do best and do it. My friend, Shari Knip's ISD728 school board race goes to recount 12/3-5. We worked so hard and she won, until 3 days later when they said she didn't. She's not giving up. I'm not giving up. This has to stop!
Braveheart is a wonderful movie, but the justification the movie uses for Wallace's violence - revenge for the murder of his wife - is an Ivory Soap of Lies - 99 and 44/100% PURE. There is no contemporary evidence that Marian Braidfute ever lived, was married to William Wallace, or was killed by William Heselrig. The first mention of this part of the story does not appear in print until 270 years later, in a revised version of Blind Harry's Poem. There is, on the other hand, considerable evidence that the Sacking of Lanark was the 1297 Scottish equivalent of the 1921 Tulsa Race massacre - a murderous riot of one race against another in the name of "independence". 240 English were slaughtered at Lanark in an event that had no military necessity and contributed nothing to Wallace's success at Sterling Bridge. What the Sacking of Lanark did do was confirm for English commoners that Wallace and his allied Scottish lords were never going to respect their civil rights. What civil rights? The ones that Edward I had affirmed that same year by entering Magna Carta into the official Statute Rolls of England, thereby making it "the common law". Wallace's brutality to the English soldiers who surrendered at Sterling Bridge and ravages in Northumberland and Carlisle answered all doubts for the locals. Edward I had no trouble recruiting an "English" army from among them that included many Scots; the result would be the disaster at Falkirk.
The modern fictional story told about these events is, without any doubt, the absolutely worst possible parable to offer in support of Donald Trump. Our President-Elect has promised to restore our rights of individual liberty - the ones that our Revolutionary ancestors from Ireland, Scotland and England all claimed as their common law inheritance and the ones we have under that primary Statute - the American Constitution.
There were many democrats who rejected the policies of Harris-Walz. I voted republican for only the second time since 1970, the first being for Reagan. I've never voted Democrat. I usually vote Libertarian, but this time I voted for Trump because there was such a distinct difference between him and Harris. Most of the times there is no real difference between the two parties or the candidates.
I still have only a sliver of hope that Trump will govern somewhere in the same universe as he campaigned. Last time he failed to make a dent in the deep state, mainly because of the opposition he faced from the RINOs. They still might derail him by refusing to back his appointments. And he might govern the opposite of the way he campaigned. We'll see, won't we?
With your newly republican presidential pick, did you also vote R down ballot? Does it make sense that the Somali leaders endorsed Trump and the voters "elected" Omar by nearly 75%? And how did non-resident and "extremely likeable" Klobuchar get 135k more votes than Harris, who coincidentally only got 137k more votes than Trump.
The question about how Gaetz and RFK Jr. are going to be confirmed is an interesting one. Do you think recess appointments are a good idea? I assume they have thought through all the possible scenarios and have backup plans.
Now there is a rumor that Jay Battycharia will be named NIH director. On many fronts, he is following through on his campaign rhetoric. The one very curious decision for me is Marco Rubio. It seems as though it's kind of a compromise pick.

How’s that going? I hope you’re seeing some progress. I loved following your predictions all the way up to the very end. Loved it.
I hope President Trump does name you to his cabinet.
Hopefully Seth you will become part of the team assigned to clean up out election system.
"Make my day." Investigate every race in every State!
Excellent. Thank you!

Or a temporary pick to open his senate seat to a patriot. Even if all his picks are confirmed, none of them can be presumed to last the whole term.
