Presidential Election Characteristics
· Colorado was once a Republican stronghold, backing all but three GOP presidential nominees between 1940 and 2004. Those Democrats who carried the state were Harry Truman in 1948, Lyndon Johnson in a national landslide, and Bill Clinton with the help of Ross Perot in 1992. The state flipped in 2008, and after a few elections of stagnation, made a hard left turn in 2020, although the accuracy of the certified margin is heavily fraudulent.
· Douglas and El Paso (Colorado Springs) Counties are the only remaining Republican strongholds, although Douglas is hanging by a thread and El Paso was highly targeted in 2020 for manipulation. Denver County, and surrounding Democrat-won counties Jefferson, Arapahoe, Adams, Boulder, and Larimer contributed nearly two-thirds of all ballots (64.3%) in the 2020 race, attract white, affluent liberals, and overwhelm Republican margins found elsewhere. Colorado has sustained substantial growth and has one more electoral vote this decade than last.
· Colorado’s election system has established Automatic Voter Registration, mail-in voting (since 2008), and ballot harvesting, allowing the population density of metro Denver to dominate the state.

2020 Review
Official: Joe Biden +13.5% (439,745 votes in margin)
Keshel Revised Likely: Joe Biden +5.9% (175,356 votes in margin)
Trump continued to expand his reach in southern Colorado and with Hispanic voters after having won two counties (Las Animas and Pueblo) in 2016 that had not backed a Republican presidential nominee since Richard Nixon in 1972, but had his winning margins (especially in Douglas, El Paso, and Weld Counties) severely trimmed by massive cheating and was swamped by metro Denver and Secretary of State Jena Griswold’s “fortified” election system, which was also enough to flush Republican Cory Gardner out of the U.S. Senate on the same evening. Denver County’s Biden margin (61.4%, 241,675, zero Trump-won precincts) was 59,814 larger than Clinton’s in 2016, and alone was larger than the margins of all Trump-won counties combined. Colorado’s reliance on universal mail-in voting, which is always accompanied by ballot harvesting and resupplied by a fresh cache of new registrations supplied by Automatic Voter Registration, made the 2020 race here one of the most corrupt in the country. The state would have likely settled just inside 6 points, marking only a slight leftward bump from 2016, which had a large third-party vote share. This election was so clean, as insisted on by Griswold, that the order was given that 2020 election audits were strictly forbidden in the state. On a side note, exposure of election manipulation in Republican stronghold Mesa County has given election integrity activists a boatload of information about the electronic elections infrastructure, and has come at great personal cost to those involved.

2024 Preview
Prediction: Joe Biden >+10% official, >+6% clean
Repeat after me. Nearly two-thirds of the vote in Colorado comes from Democrat-won counties in metro Denver, which have a heavy Democrat voter registration trend and attract the few anti-Trump demographics in big numbers (single women, affluent suburbanites, recreational drug users, and environmental leftists).
Colorado is one of a handful of states in which Robert F. Kennedy or Jill Stein would give even more help than in a standard industrial or agricultural state thanks to the issue of radical environmentalism. Notably, Colorado is one of just two states (with California) registering voters by party (out of 30) that has a voter registration advantage moving in favor of Democrats since 2020 (although the change is miniscule).
The voters moving in favor of Trump, like cowboy conservatives on the Western Slope and in the eastern plains or the Hispanic working class, are vastly outnumbered by the urban vote, and Colorado’s reckless voting practices are weakening margins in El Paso County and in suburban counties that are competitive or favorable to the GOP. In fact, when President Trump recently announced he was expanding his electoral to map to states that haven’t been won since 2004 or before, Colorado wasn’t on the list. Minnesota would go to Trump before Colorado, and I suspect the Rocky Mountain State is fool’s gold, thanks to its steady evolution into blue statehood, and especially due to its maintenance of an election system that prevents voters from participating in a fair election. Trump would do well to get the margin in Colorado within 10 points, but I suspect it will be left of that number, and perhaps even out to 15 points for Biden. Jena Griswold will get the job done.

As a former resident and native of Colorado, I cannot believe what has happened there. As I near my 70th birthday I had envisioned moving back at some point. No longer the case.
I don’t need to repeat Seth. Your article says it all. Keep up the good work!
I live here in Colorado - specifically in Colorado Springs - El Paso county. it makes my heart sick to see what is going on in my once Republican state. I've lived here since 1966. Not sure how much longer we can live in this cesspool of Liberal asshats!! Thanks for all you are doing Captain K (Seth)!!
